Discovery Magnet proudly serves students from Bridgeport and seven surrounding towns, creating a rich tapestry of cultures, perspectives, and experiences. This diversity is one of our greatest strengths, and it fuels our commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, innovative, and academically rigorous environment for all learners.
Building on last year’s momentum from #EnergizeForExcellence, we now embrace our new theme: #ExcellenceIsTheStandard. This theme reflects our unwavering belief that excellence should be the expectation in everything we do—from academics to relationships to opportunities beyond the classroom.
This year, our focus will center on three key pillars:

We will continue to expand our students’ horizons through networking opportunities and field trips that connect learning to real-world experiences. This year, we will enhance our staff/student/family committees, creating more opportunities for collaboration, feedback, and shared decision-making.
